Tourist Guide Course

A. Enrollment

1. Only Malaysians are eligible to apply for this course with minimum age of 17
2. SPM with 6 passes are required including pass Bahasa Malaysia
3. Those who are not eligible academically may enter the course through 5 years proven experience in tourism industry with proven employment and salary slip for 3 months
4. There are 3 intakes a year ie 1st Mac, 1st July and 1st November
5. Duration of this course is 4-5 months fulltime
6. Attendance of 80% is mandatory or a candidates may be denied examinations.
7. Prior final examination, there shall be an initial assessment either in March, July or November
8. Final examinations for each intake is carried out by MOTAC either in Apr, Aug or December

B. Fees

1. The fees of this course is RM5500
2. The fees can be paid via monthly installment of RM500 for 11 months
3. Due date of monthly fees in on the 7th of each month
4. The first payment of RM500 is non-refundable as this is the fee for registration
5. For eligibility to sit for exam, a total, paid fee of RM3000 is mandatory.
6. Geo Training Studio reserves the right to disallow examination for candidates who fail to fulfill the minimum RM3000 paid fees to date.
7. A discount of RM1000 shall be given to candidates who wish to complete full payment in the first month only.

C. Cancellation & Deferment

1. Cancellation of enrollment before the commencement of this course carries no penalty.
2. For cancellation of the course within the first 2 months of the course, a sum of RM500 will not be refunded.
3. Cancellation of the course after 3 months of commencement is not allowed, however deferring the course is allowed for acceptable grounds, and candidates may continue on the next intake session, however RM500 is considered lost for registration.

MESRA MALAYSIA COURSE

1. The duration of this course is 8 hours.
2. This course is carried out ONLINE 3 times a year, ie in March, August and November
3. The fees of Mesra Malaysia is RM130
4. Full payment of this course shall be paid 7 days before the commencement of the course.
5. There shall be NO REFUND for any cancellation, however deferment is acceptable.

2. Claim shall be carried by Geo Training Studio Sdn Bhd with the assistance of participating companies.
